Arches National Park

Double Arch
It was my intention to write one blog post named The Utah Five and cover all five of the national parks in Utah. After visiting all five, I decided that due to the unique features of each, they all deserved their own post. There is no particular reason I am showing you Arches first other than it was the first one we visited. That trend will continue.

Arches National Park is located in Southern Utah as are all five of Utah's National Parks. Arches National Park is just north of Moab and is one of the places we visited during our stay in the area.

North Window
`No post about Arches National Park would be compleat without pictures of arches and windows. Of corse, there are other types of rock formations here but come on we want to see arches. The photo at the left shows the North Window. Yes, there is a blue screen, but it has yet to crash.

Balanced Rock

As with all National Parks, hiking trails are in abundance, and in my experience, the best views are found off the beaten path. While gazing with wonder at the beauty of these areas, we look at each other and say "forty years ago". So I'm sorry to say, if you want the best view, you will have to make the trip yourself.

So with that, we are on the way to another adventure. We are C & L On The Road, next stop, well come back and see.
